Reliable Recall

Recall is a life saving command! Teach your dog to come back to you right away every time, even when they are distracted. 8 fun outdoor sessions to teach your dog to recall right away on the first command while simultaneously working in a play/exercise session so you leave with a fulfilled and tired dog.

I will guide you through the process and progressions every week so your dog can earn reliable off-leash freedom! Whether your goal is more fun and freedom with your dog; safety (being able to call them away from unknown food in the grass or a squirrel across the road); or to just be able to call them in from the backyard without being late, a reliable recall command is essential!

$40 per session

Package deal: $300 for 8 sessions (saves $20)

We recommend 8 training sessions (with practise in between) before most dogs can recall off of food, play, people, scents, etc.
Sessions should ideally be done weekly.

Sessions are outdoors, typically in St. Catharines

*Minimum prerequisites (if you haven’t completed our Obedience Program): 2-3 50-minute obedience sessions ($65 per session) to cover sit & release, stay, recall foundations, and sometimes obedience foundations before beginning the Reliable Recall program.
A brief phone call or short consult may also be needed prior to beginning Reliable Recall in order to discuss recall methods and any training tools.

Before your 1st session you will receive information on what to bring.

Distraction levels will be increased as you progress through the program. If your dog is dog friendly and pending proper introductions, my dog can be included in the sessions so your dog learns to recall from other dogs/during play.
