Leash Reactivity

Private 50-minute sessions, in-person

Is your dog friendly with people and dogs but suddenly becomes reactive - lunging, pulling, or barking - when on leash? We can help with that!

During sessions we will actively work on real-life scenarios together to stop leash reactivity. Even if you aren’t interested in the full obedience program reactivity training will start with some obedience basics - you will need this when working through leash reactivity! At minimum we will discuss training foundations, a solid sit & release command, a focus command, and walking on leash/heeling. We will work with you to tailor our sessions to your goals.

$70 per session
Optional additional 30-minute session(s) available: $35 for 30-minute training outing

Package deals:
$400 for 6 sessions (saves $20)
$520 for 8 sessions (saves $40)
$660 for 10 sessions (saves $40)
-Amount of sessions needed can vary per client.
-Sessions include socialization handout.

Sessions should ideally be done weekly.

Sessions are typically in St. Catharines, often outdoors. We train in public settings so that your dog is learning in real life scenarios with distractions around us.

When additional support is wanted, shorter training sessions can be scheduled between our weekly sessions. In some cases, a consult could be advised - for example, if an equipment change is needed or if your dog needs to be assessed.

Before 1st session you will receive information on what to bring.

We will review prior training each week.
